Nathan Bitzer is a father of two daughters who spent much of his life having challenges with food addiction and binging. He struggled with weight gain resulting from a myriad of health issues.
He found a ketogenic lifestyle in 2019 after his A1C test results gave him a diagnosis of being prediabetic. At 319 pound, he had severe asthma, sleep apnea, ADHD, persistent skin rash, fatigue, and all the markers for being at risk for metabolic syndrome.
Transitioning to the way of eating in a ketogenic lifestyle and exercise, he has improved his health dramatically. His diagnosis of prediabetes is no more, he has greatly reduced medications for his asthma, he no longer needs equipment for his sleep apnea, his ADHD is in check without medication, the skin rash never returned, he has more energy, and he has achieved a perfect score for his metabolic syndrome and is no longer at high risk for stroke or heart attack. Nathan now focuses on building muscle as part of his weight loss journey and keeps his focus on eating a whole-food ketogenic diet.
He has been in recovery from his food addiction for over 2 years. The time and research he has put into this lifestyle has improved his overall health beyond weight loss.
When friends and family learned of Nathan's dramatic weight loss and improved markers for his health conditions, they were inspired to improve their own health. He has worked with clients to reduce or eliminate suffering from type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, and mental health issues. Many times, this also leads to drastic weight loss. He also helps his clients improve their overall fitness.
