I really like the coaching program, I like the daily contact as it keeps me accountable and keeps me motivated. My coach is Linda and she will answer any question I throw at her, she will also give me suggestions to tweak my progress. I strongly recommend it to get you started or to get you back on track it is well worth it.
If you're thinking about the Keto WOL and not sure how to start...get a coach, they are priceless. If you started this WOL and are struggling, getting mixed messages from different sources, not getting results, etc. get a coach...they are priceless. Ketovangelist Coaches have been there, done that and can save you a lot of struggle. Believe me, hind sight is 20/20. I started Keto September 6, 2016. Thought I couldn't afford a coach. Thank goodness when teetering between quitting Keto and getting a coach I made the right choice. I'm almost a year in and not only meeting, but surpassing some of my health, weight and fitness goals. And an added bonus is I am also making life long friends!
I started Keto January of 2017 and did what I thought was “Keto” but more like lazy Keto until November of 2017 . I was stalled for months before I decided to go with coach Lisa Carroll who taught me so much about reading food labels, vitamins, and really just paying more attention to my body than worrying about the scale. I have many medical issues and understand it is a slower process for me as my body heals from all the damage done but I totally believe in this WOE to the point I am hoping to become a coach one day as well.
I've been vegan (even raw and fruitarian) and vegetarian for around 15 years. When I turned 40, my body just struggled. My hair fell out in clumps, my skin was very dry and felt like crepe throughout the day, my body was tired. Most people come to keto wanting to lose weight but, with Mary's help, I focused on nourishing myself. Mary taught me to trust the process and just eat to hunger. That was tough for me: I was afraid of eating so much, I was afraid of all the fat and calories. After a couple of months, I did gain weight but that came with thick hair, moisturised and nourished skin, abs that I never thought I could have, and no more carb face. I highly recommend getting a Ketoevangelist Coach and being part of this knowledgeable and supportive group!
I came to coaching after being Zero Carb for close to 2 years (which I began to heal a brain injury.) I am well versed in nutrition but something was amiss with my body and my ability to lose weight. Hiring Mary was my missing link. Mary was able to break down what I was doing correctly and what needed to change in order to reach my goals. Not only was she supportive with my ketogenic diet, she went above and beyond researching alternative ideas in order to help my healing. The knowledge sharing with this program is invaluable whether you are on track, stuck or simply questioning how you are doing. It’s worth every penny.
